CenterLine(Windsor) Ltd. (LaSalle, Ontario) builds custom automated welding and assembly lines as well as standard products for fastener welding, resistance welding (steel, high strength steel, hot-stamped steel, and aluminum), metal forming, and metal coating. Customers include OEMs and machinery integrators in the aerospace and defense, automotive, and mass transit industries.
Designed for simple integration and maintenance, the configurable PinPoint Solution feeds parts into robotic lines and cells. Applications include CNC machine tending, build-in-sequence traceability and error-proofing, and robotic pack-out cells.
After parts are loaded on the pins, they find their natural orientation as they advance and are positioned to be picked up by the robot. The intelligent machine-tending solution uses vision validation to ensure part type and location. The machine also optimizes a manufacturer’s workforce because one operator can load parts on more than one PinPoint.
